New Embryo Assessment Feature for IVF Labs | MedITEX IVF

Available in MedITEX from August

In a busy IVF laboratory, every second counts. Embryologists need fast access to reliable information to make informed decisions, ensure complete documentation, and maintain full traceability of every embryo throughout its lifecycle, even through more cycles.

That's why we're introducing History & Outcome, a brand-new feature within the MedITEX Embryology module. Designed specifically for embryologists, it brings together all relevant information about an embryo or oocyte in one intuitive view, making complex histories easy to understand with just a few clicks.

Complete Embryo Tracking Across Treatment Cycles

Every embryo has a unique history. It may originate from donated gametes, undergo IVF or ICSI, receive multiple embryo assessments, be cryopreserved, thawed, biopsied for genetic testing, transferred to another patient, or even become part of a surrogacy treatment.

Until now, finding this information often meant opening multiple records, switching between treatment cycles, or manually searching through documentation.

With History & Outcome, everything is available in one place.

The feature automatically links information across cycles, giving embryologists complete embryo traceability from the original egg and sperm source to the final outcome.

An Interactive Timeline That Makes Complex Histories Simple

History & Outcome uses intuitive icons to visualize every important event associated with an embryo or oocyte.

At a glance, users can identify:

  • Egg and sperm source
  • IVF or ICSI fertilization
  • Embryo assessments and developmental scores
  • Assisted hatching
  • PGT/PGD/PID analyses and transferability status
  • Cryopreservation and thawing history
  • Embryo donation
  • Surrogacy treatments
  • Pregnancy information
  • The final outcome of the embryo

Every icon is interactive. A single click opens the corresponding patient, treatment cycle, laboratory entry, or procedure, allowing users to move directly to the relevant information without searching through multiple screens.

Even when an embryo moves between treatment cycles or patients, MedITEX maintains a continuous history, ensuring that no information is lost.

Designed to Save Time Every Day

History & Outcome doesn't create new data, it makes existing data significantly easier to access. Instead of navigating through multiple cycles and patient records, embryologists can now answer important questions almost instantly.

Has this embryo already undergone PGT?

Where did the oocyte originate?

What was the final outcome?

The answers are only a click away.

For busy embryology laboratories, this means less time searching for information, fewer navigation steps, and greater confidence that every important detail is immediately available.

Supporting Better IVF Laboratory Management

Accurate documentation and complete traceability are essential for modern assisted reproductive technology (ART) laboratories. Whether supporting internal workflows, quality management, or regulatory requirements, having a complete history readily available improves both efficiency and confidence.

History & Outcome helps embryologists work faster while maintaining the high level of documentation required in IVF laboratories.

Coming This August

The new History & Outcome feature will be available in the MedITEX Embryology module from August in version 4.1.0.

We're excited to provide embryologists with a smarter way to explore embryo histories, improve laboratory workflows, and access the information they need, exactly when they need it.
